Just finished That Weekend by Kara Thomas, and I’m still thinking about it. This thriller completely pulled me in from the very first page — the kind of story that makes you stay up late, telling yourself, “just one more chapter.”

The story follows a group of friends whose weekend getaway takes a dark and dangerous turn. Secrets, lies, and betrayals slowly unravel, and nothing — and no one — is what it seems. Kara Thomas has a real talent for building suspense. Every chapter is layered with tension, leaving you guessing and second-guessing the characters’ motives until the very end.

What I loved most were the characters themselves. They feel real, flawed, and complex, which makes every twist hit even harder. You get caught up in their friendships, their rivalries, and the choices they make, all while trying to piece together what’s really happening.

This is one of those thrillers that sticks with you long after you’ve finished it. It’s dramatic, twisty, and full of suspense — perfect for anyone who loves a gripping story that keeps you on edge from start to finish. If you’re looking for your next page-turner, That Weekend is definitely one to pick up.

Have you read it yet? I’d love to hear what you think — the ending left me speechless!
